Ecopetrol (NYSE: EC) is the largest company in Colombia and one of the leading integrated oil and gas conglomerates in Latin America, employing over 17,000 staff. It is responsible for over 60% of the Colombian hydrocarbon production and owns the largest refineries and most of the midstream infrastructure in the country. It also participates in power trading and gas distribution.
